KRB has developed an automated clamping system for the current #11 Mechanical Bender. Two air actuated clamps support the bar during the bend process keeping the operators hands free. The system includes a programmable safety scanner. The Scanner covers the table top during the bend process. Should the operators enter the field during the bend cycle, the machine will stop. The light tower shows the operator which direction the tabletop will be moving.
